Explainer video and
animation studio in Bengaluru

2D explainers, motion graphics and 3D product films for the products a camera cannot shoot: racks, power systems, software, satellites and everything in between.

A 20-minute video call. We tell you what to make and how long it takes, then send a quote.

The short answer

Content Cabinet is a Bengaluru studio that makes animated explainers, motion graphics and 3D product films. For Schneider Electric and APC we made four films, including NetShelter, a 3D product film for a rack PDU, without a single shoot day.

A 60 to 90 second explainer usually takes three to five weeks, and about half of that goes into agreeing the script and the look. We prefer to spend an afternoon with your engineers before we write a word.

What we animate

  • 2D explainers. One product, one use case, 60 to 90 seconds. The Schneider product and systems explainers are both under 90 seconds.
  • 3D product films and CGI. For hardware you cannot open on camera. NetShelter explains a rack PDU in 65 seconds.
  • Motion graphics. Title packages and animated data for shows and decks, like the Capital Conversations package for Waterfield.
  • Product demos. Software walkthroughs that show the product doing the one job a buyer cares about.

Why we like hard products

Explainers are easy to make for simple products and hard to make for complex ones, which is exactly why complex products need them. A rack PDU, a drone dock or a gas turbine has a story inside it that nobody outside the company can see. Our job is to find the one thing a buyer should understand, and show only that.

That is why most of our animation work is for hardware, power and deep tech teams. Engineers tend to want everything in the film. We push for one use case per film, and make a second film if there is a second story.

2D or 3D?

Pick 3D when the inside of a physical product is the point. Pick 2D when the idea matters more than the object. A quick way to decide:

In person, in Bengaluru

Most of our clients are a short drive away, and it shows in the films. An hour in your office with the person who built the product saves a week of email. For clients in Mumbai or abroad we run the same session on a call and share the screen.

Questions people ask

How much does an explainer video cost in India?

Public price guides put a 60-second 2D explainer at roughly ₹40,000 to ₹1,20,000 and 3D at ₹1,20,000 to ₹2,50,000 or more. Our explainer cost guide lays out the sources. We quote after a call.

How long does an explainer video take?

Three to five weeks for a 2D explainer and four to seven for 3D. The script and style frames take about half that time.

Should we pick 2D or 3D?

3D when the inside of a physical product is the point, 2D when the idea matters more than the object. Many teams start with 2D and add a short 3D sequence.

Do you need our CAD files?

For 3D product films, yes if you have them. Detailed photos and an hour with an engineer also work.

Can the voiceover be in Hindi or other languages?

Yes. English is the default, and Hindi or other Indian languages can be arranged at the script stage.

How many revisions do we get?

We agree the revision rounds in the quote. Most changes should happen at the script and style-frame stages, where they cost the least.
