Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This policy covers the Content Cabinet website. It explains what we collect when you visit or get in touch, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short on purpose.

What we collect

  • What you send us. Your name, email address, company and anything else you write when you email us, send us a brief through the form on the site, or book a call. A brief sent through the form comes to us by email; it is not stored on the website or in the visit log.
  • How you used the site. Each page you view, how long you spend on it and how far you scroll, the link that brought you here, whether you play a film, click to book a call, email or message us, or open or send the brief form (the log records only that you did, never what you wrote), your browser, device and language, and your approximate location. We also look up the name of the network or organisation your IP address belongs to, such as your internet provider or your employer's office network, using IPinfo and the public records of the internet registries. We store a shortened IP address, never the full one.
  • A random visitor ID. A random code saved in your browser's local storage so we can tell a repeat visit from a new one, kept with a count of your visits and the time you have spent on the site. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
  • Links we send you. Links we send to people we are already talking to can carry a short code, such as ?r=acme. If you open one, the code is saved in your browser so we can see when you come back to the site, and it is removed from the address bar straight away.
  • Nothing sensitive. We do not collect payment details, government identifiers or special category data through this site.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, to prepare for a call you booked, to send you work you asked for, to understand which parts of the site are useful, and to see which organisations read our work so we can get in touch where it may be relevant, and to know when someone we are already talking to comes back to the site. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers.

Services we rely on

A few third parties process data on our behalf when you use the site. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
  • YouTube serves the video players. We embed them in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube does not set tracking cookies until you press play.
  • Reclaim.ai handles call bookings when you use the booking link.
  • IPinfo (ipinfo.io) tells us which network or organisation an IP address belongs to.
  • The internet registries (ARIN, APNIC and RIPE NCC) answer public lookups that show which organisation a block of IP addresses is registered to.
  • Google carries our email (Google Workspace) and stores our website visit log (Google Sheets).

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. It keeps the random visitor ID, your visit counts and any link code described above in your browser's local storage, which works much like a cookie; clear it whenever you like and the site keeps working. Pressing play on an embedded video hands you over to YouTube, which may set its own cookies at that point. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time without breaking the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the correspondence around them stay in our email for as long as the relationship is live, and for up to three years after, so we can pick up a conversation where it stopped. The website visit log is kept for up to twelve months. Ask us to delete either sooner and we will.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Write to info@contentcabinet.in and we will respond within thirty days.

Children

This site is meant for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged to anyone we hold an active enquiry for.
