Films that make deep tech
easy to follow

Launch films, 3D product films and engineering explainers for robotics, autonomous vehicles, hardware and AI companies.

A 20-minute video call. We tell you what to make and how long it takes, then send a quote.

The short answer

Deep tech companies sell a product most people cannot see: it sits in a lab, inside a machine, or has not shipped yet. We make the films that show it: launch films for the day you announce, 3D product films made from your CAD files without a shoot, and engineering explainers that investors and buyers can follow. For Minus Zero we made a film on the technology behind its self-driving zPod. For Schneider Electric and APC we made 2D and 3D films that never needed a shoot day.

Our core team are BITS Pilani graduates. We keep the technical terms that matter, explain each one in plain words, and send every claim to your engineers before it is final.

Why deep tech is hard to market

A robot, a battery chemistry or a self-driving stack does its work out of sight. Buyers cannot try it, investors cannot see inside it, and the engineers who understand it best explain it in the terms they use with each other. The launch impresses other engineers and loses the people who sign the cheque or the purchase order.

A film fixes that when the people making it understand the product. Boston Dynamics showed how far it can go: its "Do You Love Me?" film passed 23 million views in its first week, which we break down here.

What we make for deep tech companies

  • Launch films. For the day you announce a product, a round or a partnership, planned back from that date. See launch and funding videos.
  • 3D product films. Built from CAD files, so the product can be shown inside and out before it ships. NetShelter was made this way.
  • Engineering explainers. How the system works, for investors, partners and technical buyers. Our systems explainer for Schneider Electric is an example.
  • Founder and lab films. The people and the place, for hiring and for investors.
  • Demo and event films. Pitches, demo days and expo booths, cut for every platform.

Getting the science right

Our core team are BITS Pilani graduates who read the spec sheet before they write a word. We keep the terms that matter, explain each one in a sentence anyone can follow, and send every technical claim to your engineers for sign-off before it reaches a voiceover. The creative process is AI-enabled and runs the same way on every project, so your engineers know exactly when they will be asked to review.

For US and global teams

We work with deep tech founders in San Francisco and across the US as well as in India, with reviews on calls in your time zone. See the launch films from Figure, 1X and others we study, and our work for the funds that back deep tech.

How it runs

From spec sheet to film

Phase 01Understand

A working session with your engineers. We read what you send and ask the questions a buyer would.

Phase 02Script

One message and the terms that matter, each one explained. Your engineers sign off every claim.

Phase 03Make

A shoot, 3D from CAD, or 2D animation, chosen by what the film has to show.

Phase 04Launch

Timed to your announcement, with cuts for X, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Questions people ask

Can you make a film before the product is built?

Yes. 3D product films are built from CAD files, so we can show a product before the first unit ships.

Do you need our CAD files?

For 3D product films, yes, or detailed drawings. For explainers, diagrams and a call with an engineer are usually enough.

How do you make sure the technical claims are right?

Every technical claim goes to your engineers for sign-off before the voiceover is recorded.

Do you work with deep tech startups in the US?

Yes. We work with founders in San Francisco and across the US remotely, with reviews in your time zone.

Can one film work for investors and for buyers?

Often the same footage makes two cuts: one for investors that explains why the technology wins, and one for buyers that shows what it does for them.

What does it cost?

We quote after a 20-minute call, once we know what the film has to show.
