Video for B2B
and SaaS companies

Explainers, product demos, launch films and customer stories for products that take more than one sentence to understand.

A 20-minute video call. We tell you what to make and how long it takes, then send a quote.

The short answer

Content Cabinet makes video for B2B and SaaS companies in India, San Francisco and beyond: explainers, product demos, launch films, customer stories and the short clips sales teams send after a call. We have made four films for Schneider Electric and APC, an animated ad for Amazon SmartBiz, and a film for StudioK on AI products built in India.

B2B buyers rarely decide from one video. They watch the explainer on your site, the demo a rep sends and the founder talk a colleague forwards, so we plan the set and make the piece that matters most first. We quote after a 20-minute call.

The videos a B2B funnel needs

Each stage of a B2B purchase has a different question, and each question has a video that answers it best:

StageVideoTypical lengthWhat it does
First visitExplainer60 to 90 secondsSays what the product is and who it is for
EvaluationProduct demo2 to 5 minutesShows the product doing the real job
LaunchLaunch filmUnder 90 secondsGives the news a reason to travel
ProofCustomer story1 to 3 minutesLets a customer say what you cannot
SalesShort clips30 to 60 secondsAnswers the question a rep hears on every call
BrandFounder conversation20 to 60 minutesLets buyers hear how the team thinks

See how other companies do it in our product demo examples and explainer examples.

Hard products are our habit

Most of our B2B work is for products a camera cannot easily show. Schneider Electric's NetShelter film explains a rack PDU in 65 seconds of 3D, made without a single shoot day, and the two Schneider explainers run under 90 seconds each. Engineers tend to want everything in the film, so we push for one use case per film and make a second film if there is a second story.

Software demos that stay useful

For software, you can record the real interface or rebuild it in motion graphics. A clean screen recording is faster and cheaper. A rebuilt interface costs more, but it can zoom into the one button that matters, hide what is unfinished, and age better when the product changes, because it shows the idea rather than every pixel. Many teams use both: a recording for the help centre and a rebuilt version for the homepage.

Selling abroad from India

Many Indian B2B companies sell to the US and Europe first. We write for that buyer, with their examples, their units and their idiom, and cast the voiceover to match, while production stays in Bengaluru. For clients abroad we run discovery on a call and share the screen.

What it costs

Public price guides put a 60-second 2D explainer in India at roughly ₹40,000 to ₹1,20,000, SaaS and product demo animation at ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 per minute, and a 60-second 3D product film at ₹1,00,000 to ₹2,50,000. Our explainer cost guide and 3D cost guide have the sources. We quote after a call.

One use case per film, in the buyer's words, with every sentence that does no work cut.

Phase 03Look or shoot plan

You approve style frames or a shoot plan before anything is animated or filmed.

Phase 04Deliver the set

Versions for the website, ads, sales emails and events, sized for each.

Questions people ask

What videos does a B2B SaaS company need first?

Usually an explainer for the homepage and a product demo for buyers who are evaluating. Launch films, customer stories and sales clips come next.

How much does a SaaS explainer video cost in India?

Public guides put a 60-second 2D explainer at roughly ₹40,000 to ₹1,20,000 and SaaS demo animation at ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 per minute. We quote after a 20-minute call.

Animated or live action for B2B?

Animation when the product is invisible or abstract, such as software, data or anything inside a rack. Live action when people and trust matter most, such as customer stories and founder conversations.

Can you make a demo from our app?

Yes, as a narrated screen recording or a rebuilt interface in motion graphics. We will suggest which suits each film.

Do you work with companies in the US?

Yes. We take projects from founders in San Francisco and across the US and work remotely, with reviews on calls in your time zone, while production happens in Bengaluru.

How long does a B2B explainer take?

Three to five weeks for a 2D explainer and four to seven for 3D, with about half of that spent agreeing the script and the look.
